The 2001 & 2002 HS boys teams are coached by Ian Kurth. Ian Kurth has just been appointed Head coach of the Men's Soccer program at NCCAA affiliated Great Lakes Christian College (read his bio here).
The 2003 HS boys is run by our General Manager Whitey Anderson. Whitey Anderson is a UEFA Pro Licence coach (the highest qualification) with years of coaching at youth and senior levels. He coached at club Ballinmallard United who competed in the highest division in Northern Ireland (Irish Premiership) (read his bio here).

We are also looking to form 2004 teams for the 2019 Spring season. Particularly 2004 birth year players that are not in High School. This is will be run by our Technical Director Wayne Harrison.
Wayne Harrison is the creator and founder of the Soccer Awareness soccer coaching methodology. He is also a renowned coach educator. Wayne will also be a presenter at the "United Soccer Coaches Convention" in Chicago next January. He will be giving a classroom presentation on "Teaching a One Touch Mentality. I will also be focusing on the new ideas I have developed over the past 2 years which has helped develop my philosophy. Wayne Harrison has played professionally in England and Finland, he has also written over 14 critically acclaimed books on youth player development (read his full bio).

Chill is unique in having two of the highest qualified coaches in the state in Wayne Harrison and Whitey Anderson. Wayne possesses the prestigious UEFA 'A' license as well as NSCAA Premier Diploma whilst Whitey has the UEFA 'Pro' License, the highest coaching qualification in the World. In addition to their qualifications, both Wanye and Whitey have extensive experience in the professional game.
They oversee a body of UEFA, FA, USSF and NSCAA coaches who ensure that all players within the Chill program are receiving the highest quality instruction to allow each player and each team to fulfill their potential. All Chill coaches participate in regular professional development and are supported to take their professional coaching licenses.
2. Hope Sports Complex
The Chill SBC Soccer Club is privileged to call Hope Sports Complex in our home for all training sessions and games during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Hope Sports Complex is a state of the art multi sport facility and the only complex in Mid Michigan to include a artificial turf field with lights and bleachers.
This ensures a consistent and convenient training location for families. In addition Chill practices are rarely canceled due to us having our own home and an all-weather surface.
3. Progressive Pathway and Consistent Approach
Through our progressive pathway players are provided with age-appropriate programming that ensures they develop the appropriate skills at the right age. Chill teams will adopt a consistent style of play developed in conjunction with our partners FC Bayern and Global Premier Soccer, that emphasizes comfort on the ball, creativity and intense pressing without the ball.
4. FC Bayern and GPS partnership
In 2017, Chill signed an extensive partnership with Global Premier Soccer (GPS) one of the largest and most successful youth soccer organizations in North America, and the Official North American partner of FC Bayern.
The partnership provides curriculum from the FC Bayern Youth academy, additional player opportunities through the GPS National team program that sees teams compete in the top tournaments Nationally and Internationally, college placement support and administrative support.
5. College Placement
The Chill SBC Soccer Club is dedicated to assisting the most committed players reach their goals of playing College soccer after graduating from high school. With that in mind, we have partnered with Global Premier Soccer to bring a greater resources to college-bound players and their families. Chill coaching staff can help players to create GOTSOCCER profiles, video footage and communicate with schools of interest.
Our goal is to give our players as much exposure to college coaches on the field as possible. The program will also provide a support structure off the field that provides players with the guidance and advice needed to make the best decision for their future.
